Prenjska Vrata rises above Grabovica Lake at the foot of Prenj. The wall is reached by a 20 to 25 minute kayak paddle from Donja Jablanica, so wind and water conditions matter as much as the weather on the rock.
The protected line is 250 metres long and graded D. It stays steep and exposed for much of the climb, with steel steps and handholds on the wall. Allow between one hour and 90 minutes on the cable. With a guide and additional rope protection, the route can work for a fit first-timer who is genuinely comfortable with height.
The marked return trail is about 4.7 kilometres long, passes a viewpoint above Glogošnica and finishes at a different parking area. The route was built through the Via Dinarica III project led by Klub ekstremnih sportova 4 Sezone, with support from SPK Puls and partner organisations in Jablanica and Blagaj.
