Podružje, also called Ilirski Put, follows a small riverbed in the canyon north of Mostar. Water beside the protected path adds interest in spring and autumn, but the same setting makes the canyon unsuitable after heavy rain.
The route has about one kilometre of cable, gains 200 metres and is graded A/B. From the road above the Podružje canyon, a marked path descends to the start in about 15 minutes. The cable takes around one hour.
At the exit, turn left onto the marked path below the cliffs and follow the narrow passage back toward the starting point. Allow roughly 45 minutes for the descent, and do not enter the canyon when runoff or a rising stream is possible.
