Risk management & guide standards

Certified partners, weather calls, emergency plans and gear checks for every departure.

Safety is our foundation

Mountains demand respect. We never compromise on safety—every decision, from route selection to weather calls, prioritizes your wellbeing over summit success.

How we keep you safe

Risk Assessment

Every route is evaluated for objective hazards including rockfall, weather exposure, and technical difficulty before departure.

Certified Guides

Our team includes certified mountain guides, with some guides also being mountain rescue team members.

Weather Monitoring

We check multiple forecasts 48h before each trip. If conditions deteriorate, we reroute or reschedule with full flexibility.

Equipment Standards

All technical gear—harnesses, via ferrata sets, helmets, ropes—is inspected before each use and retired on schedule.

Small Groups

Maximum 10 guests per guide on via ferrata and climbing, 6 on alpine scrambles. For technical routes and larger groups, we add a second guide to maintain safety and personal attention. Regular hiking tours don't have these strict limits.

Emergency Protocols

Clear roles, satellite communication where needed, GPS tracking, and established relationships with local mountain rescue teams.

Guide certifications

Our team maintains professional standards and ongoing training

Certified mountain guides

Professional guide credentials for mountain travel and route safety.

Mountain rescue team members (some guides)

Some guides are active mountain rescue team members with real rescue experience.

Emergency procedures

Every guide carries a comprehensive first aid kit and communication device. Before each trip, we brief the group on emergency protocols, establish buddy systems, and confirm everyone's medical status.

Weather & cancellation policy

We monitor conditions continuously. If we cancel for safety reasons, you receive a full credit toward a future trip. If conditions change mid-tour, we'll adapt the route or descend—your safety always comes first. We never push for a summit when conditions say otherwise.
