Paklarske Stijene follows horizontal and sloping ledges, then steeper slabs along the main ridge of the Devečani cliffs on Vlašić. The grade is B/C, with 500 metres of cable, 200 metres of height gain and about 90 minutes of protected climbing. Grassy ledges become difficult when wet.
The approach begins from the old Travnik road toward Galica and takes roughly two hours. The return passes the Jusuf Pečenković and Grof Erik Brandis mountain lodges before following the road back, also about two hours.
The published guide warns that the approach is poorly marked, enters mine-suspected terrain and that parts of the cable have shown rust. Stay on verified paths and confirm the current route condition with a local club before setting out.
