Kuk is a long grade B/C route on Volujak, reached from the Papin Do mountain lodge above Čemerno. It has 830 metres of cable and about 200 metres of height gain, with resting places along the line. A normal crossing takes roughly two hours.
From Papin Do, follow the path toward Bioč and turn at the winter waymark. The route continues across meadow and scree, passing a spring and an information board before reaching the cable. Allow about 80 minutes for this approach.
The cable ends on the plateau above the wall. The marked normal route descends through open ground and beech forest toward the valley below Kuk, passing near Jagodino Lake before returning to Papin Do. The walk off takes about an hour, making this a remote mountain outing of roughly four and a half hours.
