The most demanding full day in the country: C/D, 500 metres of cable, 350 metres of vertical, and a four-hour descent — the longest walk-off anywhere in the set.

Eight hours on the hill in total, approached from the Nevesinje side of Velež rather than from Mostar. Only Peć Mlini is technically harder, and nothing else combines a hard grade with this much time on foot. April to October.

How we know this

BOA has not inspected Srce Veleža. The figures on this page come from published sources, not from our own survey. Cable and anchor condition changes. Nothing here is a substitute for checking the route yourself before you climb.

Condition reports

Written by visitors who have climbed Srce Veleža, not by BOA, and not checked by us before they appear. Treat them as one climber’s account on one day — useful, but never clearance to climb.

No condition reports yet. If you have climbed this route, yours would be the first.
