Graded by BOA from guiding it. The route is absent from the national catalogue, so it carries no published grade.

600 metres of route above Mostar on Hum hill, gaining 350 metres — the largest vertical gain of any route in the immediate Mostar group. Three suspension bridges break up the line.

The approach is as short as they come in this country: about a minute from where you park. The climbing is the long part at roughly 90 minutes, and the walk off takes an hour, so the descent outlasts everything except the route itself.

At B/C it is a step up from Fortica and Vulin Potok, the other two easy Mostar routes, without reaching the technical grades of western Herzegovina. It runs year-round, weather allowing.

The national catalogue lists neighbouring Opine but not this route, so the grade here is BOA's own from guiding it rather than a published one.

How we know this

BOA guides climb Hum regularly. Cable and anchor condition changes. Nothing here is a substitute for checking the route yourself before you climb.

Condition reports

Written by visitors who have climbed Hum, not by BOA, and not checked by us before they appear. Treat them as one climber’s account on one day — useful, but never clearance to climb.

No condition reports yet. If you have climbed this route, yours would be the first.
