At two kilometres, by far the longest via ferrata in Bosnia & Herzegovina — more than double the next longest. The grade stays low at A/B and the vertical is a modest 300 metres, so the line traverses far more than it climbs.
An hour of climbing for two kilometres of cable is fast going, which the easy grade explains. Near Mostar, 15 minutes from the road, year-round.
How we know this
BOA has not inspected Opine. The figures on this page come from published sources, not from our own survey. Cable and anchor condition changes. Nothing here is a substitute for checking the route yourself before you climb.
Condition reports
Written by visitors who have climbed Opine, not by BOA, and not checked by us before they appear. Treat them as one climber’s account on one day — useful, but never clearance to climb.
No condition reports yet. If you have climbed this route, yours would be the first.
