Bršljan A takes the central and steepest part of its sector on the Bijeli Kamen crag. Its three vertical sections become more overhanging in the second half. The line is only 60 metres long, with about 40 metres of height gain, but the sustained climbing earns a C/D grade and usually takes around 30 minutes.
Steel rungs are closely spaced, yet the overhang still makes this a physical route. The published guide recommends carrying a short resting sling with a carabiner. The marked approach from the Kotlovača mountain lodge takes about 40 minutes, and the return uses the path beside Bršljan B or the easier B line itself.
