Route & suitability
A day or a weekend on the 1984 Olympic mountains above Sarajevo, without a car, without hunting for a rental shop and without queuing for passes. We pick you up in the city in the morning, your skis or snowboard, boots and helmet are waiting at the base, and your lift pass is in hand. On the first day a local skier takes you round the mountain so you know which runs suit you and where to eat; on a weekend, the second day is yours to ski at your own pace. Choose the mountain: Jahorina is the biggest resort in the country, Bjelašnica is quieter, steeper and cheaper. This is for people who can already ski or ride: if you have never skied, see our learn-to-ski lessons instead.
Best for
- Skiers and snowboarders visiting Sarajevo who want two easy days on the mountain without a car.
- Friends or couples who would rather not spend their first morning finding rental and passes.
Not ideal for
- Complete beginners: take the learn-to-ski course, which comes with an instructor.
- Anyone who wants to sleep on the mountain: we stay in Sarajevo and drive up each day.
Send us your dates as early as you can. Rental sizes and passes for the Christmas and January holiday weeks go fast, and in a thin-snow week we may need to choose the mountain the day before.
Good to know
- Priced per mountain, because the lift passes cost different amounts. Jahorina: €195 for one skier for a day (€95 each extra), €320 for a weekend (€155 each extra). Bjelašnica: €175 for a day (€80 each extra), €295 for a weekend (€140 each extra).
- Every price includes lift passes, rental and transport for all the days you book.
- For skiers and snowboarders who can already turn and stop on a blue run. Never skied? Book the learn-to-ski lessons instead.
- If one mountain has better snow or less wind on your day, we will suggest switching. The price follows the mountain you ski.
- Want a third day, a different pairing of days, or a private instructor for part of a day? Ask on WhatsApp.
- No deposit. Nothing is paid until we confirm your dates.
Itinerary
- Pickup in Sarajevo around 8:00 and the drive up (about 45-50 minutes)
- Rental fitted at the base, lift passes handed over
- Skiing with a local who shows you the runs, lifts and lunch spots
- Drive back to Sarajevo around 16:00
- Weekend: a second day with pickup in Sarajevo, skiing at your own pace

If lifts close for wind or the roads are shut, we move your day or switch to the other mountain. If neither is possible, you pay nothing for that day.
