About Bjelašnica

It is smaller than Jahorina, with 14 km of pistes and 8 lifts, but steeper, with more red and black runs and open terrain above the trees that makes for good freeride after a storm. Floodlit night skiing and a children's area make it work for families too.

It is also much cheaper: an adult day pass is 69 KM at the ticket office and 65 KM online for 2026/27. The ticket office has been card-only since January 2026. Passes bought for Bjelašnica also work on the small lifts at Igman.

Best for

  • Confident skiers who want steeper red and black runs
  • Freeride after fresh snow
  • Skiing on a budget close to Sarajevo
