Built in 2024 on the Crne Stijene of Mali Lupoglav, in the Romanija range above Mokro. 300 metres of cable for 100 metres of vertical at grade C, topping out around 1421 metres, with two wire suspension bridges near the finish.
The line mixes well-equipped vertical sections on steel steps with stretches left deliberately bare, where you climb on natural holds. That mix is what puts it at C rather than lower.
It is a long day for an hour of climbing: an hour of approach and a descent of well over an hour and a half. Reckon on around five hours on foot from the mountain lodge, via roughly five kilometres of gravel road and just under a kilometre of forest trail.
Built by Igor Milošev, who also built Sokolov Put a few kilometres away on the same massif, and maintained by Planinsko Društvo Glasinac of Sokolac. It is not in the national catalogue.
How we know this
BOA has not inspected Mrki Medvjed. The figures on this page come from published sources, not from our own survey. Cable and anchor condition changes. Nothing here is a substitute for checking the route yourself before you climb.
Condition reports
Written by visitors who have climbed Mrki Medvjed, not by BOA, and not checked by us before they appear. Treat them as one climber’s account on one day — useful, but never clearance to climb.
No condition reports yet. If you have climbed this route, yours would be the first.
