Armin Gazić follows the north side of Velež above Mostar. The protected line has 350 metres of cable, gains 180 metres and is graded B/C. The climbing is relatively short and has no major overhanging section, but the published route notes loose rock and asks climbers to watch anyone below.
Most of the day is spent getting to and from the cable. The marked approach from Gnojnice passes the Brasina mountain shelter and takes about three and a half hours. The crossing takes roughly one hour, followed by a two-hour descent on the marked trail back toward Brasina and Gnojnice. Although the route is listed year-round, winter on Velež requires a separate assessment of snow, ice and visibility.
